1. Product Information
Two-layer-flooring, lacquered, stained or oiled, is created for exclusive, selected interiors, it connects luxury and naturalness of the wood. Two-layer-flooring of UAB“ Elitėja“ consist of long and wide planks (most 2000mm, 2100mm long) with a 6 mm thick and 160mm wide top layer of fine oak wood and a 12mm watertigth WBP Birch plywood underlayer. The multiplex underlayer – cross-banded Birch veneer with min. 9 veneer sheets - was specially selected over other underlayers because of its low thermo resistance and its water boil proof characteristics (WBP), it is suitable also for temperature water underfloor heating, internal and external use, it suits the requirements for gluing according german Standard DIN 68705-3 Part BFU100 (certificated), it is also EN- certificated for the CE sign.
Thats, why our two-layer-flooring is suitable also for temperature water underfloor heating. Furthermore the tongue-groove-connection-system makes the laying-job easy.
Following the recent trend for absolutely natural products, our flooring may present color variation and knots. It is also possible that the plank may change color, depending on its exposure to the ligth. None of these characteristics constitute as defect, as they are all features of natural wood.
Wood reacts to changes in the enviroment, suitable attention must therefore be paid to the climate in the interior. A relative humidity between 40% and 60% and a temperature between 15°C and 24°C is the perfect climate for your floor.
